iDEAL is based on online banking and uses the same security techniques. This means that iDEAL is just as secure as online banking. But how does it work exactly? As soon as you proceed to checkout, and you have set language and currency to NL and Euros, the payment option iDEAL appears on the site. Select your bank. A new window will open in which most of the relevant details have already been entered. So no fiddling around with long numbers or manually having to type in the amount due to Wiggle, etc. When you click on next, you will be asked to verify the payment in the manner specific to that bank (e.dentifier, ASN Digipas, Easykey, Tan-code, Random Reader, Digipas, Identifier or Webber). As soon as you are done, click on next and the bank will check and authorise the payment. In the final window, click on close and you will be redirected to the homepage of the webshop. The amount has been taken from your account directly and your order from Wiggle will be processed.
Is iDEAL only intended for use in the Netherlands or can it also be used in other countries?
It is only possible to make payments using iDEAL between current accounts with Dutch banks, in other words, only with online stores which have a Dutch current account. It is, however, possible that a foreign merchant has outsourced the collecting of payments to a Collecting Payment Service Provider.
Immediately visible on your bank statement
As soon as you have authorised the payment, your bank account online will show that money has been taken. This enables you to keep track of all your expenses. What is more, the web shop will have your name, account number and the paid amount on file. In case something goes wrong, your payment can be located via these data.
Easy to recognise on your bank statement
Your bank statement will display iDEAL payments clearly. The notes accompanying the payment will include a 16-digit iDEAL transaction ID and the date and time of payment.
Why do I see a strange name on my bank statement?
When you have made an online purchase you expect that the name of the merchant appears on your bank statement. Because this is the party to whom you paid the money to.
However, possibly a merchant has outsourced the collecting of payments to a third party. Such a party is called a Collecting Payment Service Provider (CPSP). The name of this CPSP is listed on your bank settlement account. For you this makes no difference. Your payment will reach the merchant via the CPSP.
Issues with my payment
Unfortunately, sometimes there are problems creating or processing iDEAL orders.
Here are some of the errors you might receive while creating you order:
The web shop reports that payment for the order has not been received.
You receive an error message whilst placing the order and authorising the payment, but find logging on to your bank account that money has been taken.
You received an error message whilst authorising payment via iDEAL and tried to pay for the order again. On logging on to your bank account, however, you find that money has been taken twice.
When I make a payment, how do I know for certain that I have paid?
When you pay online using iDEAL you will receive a payment confirmation from your bank after you have authorised the payment. The amount concerned will also have been taken from your account on making the payment, which you will be able to see by looking at the account details. When you have completed the payment you can simply log on to your bank, bring up your account details and you will see the payment there.
When I make a payment, how do I know for certain that the web store has received the payment?
A message is automatically sent to the online store reporting the payment status, which tells the store whether the transaction has been successful.
What if an online store says it has not received my payment? What should I do?
If your bank statement shows that the payment has been made, but the merchant states that he has not received your payment, the online store concerned will need to contact its bank. For this the merchant needs the details of your 16-digit iDEAL transaction ID presented in your statement and the date and time of payment. This information can be found in the description field of the payment concerned.
If you cannot sort the matter out with the store concerned, please contact your bank. Your bank is able to look into the matter and determine where the mistake was made: at the merchant, with your bank or the merchant’s bank (or CPSPs’ bank). Please note that you will have the iDEAL transaction number (16 digits) available. With this number your bank will be able to trace your payment.
Is it possible to reverse an iDEAL payment?
Payments made using iDEAL cannot be reversed. As part of the payment process, you are specifically requested to authorise payment. On your initiative the payment cannot be cancelled by your bank once you have clicked the button to make the payment. If you want to cancel your online purchase, relevant legal possibilities apply.
During my iDEAL payment I received an error message. Unfortunately, the amount to be paid was debited from my account, but the merchant did not receive my payment. What shall I do?
Please contact your bank. Your bank can help you in finding out what caused this error message: at the merchant's website or in the link between your bank and the merchant's bank (or the bank of the Collecting Payment Service Provider (CPSP) – this is when a merchant subcontracts the settlement of iDEAL payments to a third party).
During my iDEAL payment, I received an error message. After this I retried another iDEAL payment. Now the amount has been debited twice from my account. What shall I do?
Please contact the merchant. The merchant can verify whether they received double payment, you can request the merchant to refund the amount.
In case the merchant did not receive any payment, please contact your bank. Your bank can help you in finding out what caused this error message: at the merchant's website or in the link between your bank and the merchant's bank (or the bank of the Collecting Payment Service Provider (CPSP) – this is when a merchant subcontracts the settlement of iDEAL payments to a third party).

Cancelling an iDEAL order is exactly The same as cancelling any other order with Wiggle.
If you want to cancel an order before we have despatched it, just login into your account and view the orders details of the order you wish to cancel then scroll to the foot of the page and click on the 'Cancel This Order' link. You will be redirected to a specific returns form.
We try to despatch things very quickly so you need to cancel your order very quickly! If your order is already being processed or has been despatched we are unable to Cancel and you will need to return it to us for a refund.
On successful cancellation, your payment should be immediately refunded to your original payment method and you should receive an email from us to confirm this. If there is an error and your order is not cancelled or refunded please contact sales@wiggle.co.uk quoting the order number and they will do their best to help you and refund your payment.
Unfortunately if you change your mind and want your order reactivated we are unable to do this with iDEAL and you will need to place a new order instead.
If you've received item(s) from wiggle and you don't want to keep them for any reason, return the goods to us and we'll give you a full refund for the cost of the item(s). Returned goods must be unused and in a saleable condition. Once we've received them back, we will process the refund via iDEAL.
All returns must have a completed returns form.
We will credit your method of payment used via iDEAL for the items. It may take a couple of working days to appear as cleared funds.
Unfortunately, we are unable to swap items paid for by iDEAL. Please return the item(s) and place a new order for the item(s) you require.
If you have received a wrong or faulty item, please follow the same procedure and clearly indicate the reason for returning the order. NB: We will refund the postage for such a return order in the form of a voucher. In order to receive this refund, you will need to provide customer services with proof of postage. Please copy and send the receipt you received in the post office upon returning the item to us.
It may be possible to alter an item you have ordered if you discover it is the wrong one. However, the total cost of the order cannot be greater than the total cost of the original order.
Orders can only be altered before they are being processed and despatched. We try to process and despatch things very quickly so you need to be very quick!

Indoor Trainers are available with FREE delivery to Australia and Japan exclusively.
Bikes despatched internationally (outside of the UK and Ireland) are fully assembled and safety checked here at Wiggle before being disassembled and packaged into two separate boxes ready for delivery. The frame will be in one box and the wheels will be in the other box and both boxes will be shipped together.

Bike Brake Set Up
We recommend that international customers should state in their order notes how they require their brakes to be set up. It it standard procedure to ship bikes in the UK with the front brake on the right and rear on the left. Should you select priority despatch, If there are no notes on the order to advise what brake preference you require, this will cause delays as we will need to phone or confirm the setup before we dispatch your bike.

You can also choose to add priority despatch to your order. Priority Despatch means we despatch your goods as soon as we can after we receive your order. If you do not choose priority despatch your order may take an additional 2-3 days to be processed during peak times before it is despatched.
The price of delivery outside of the UK is dependent on the weight of the order. You will be able to see the shipping cost of your order when you view your wiggle shopping basket. You will also be able to see the free delivery threshold in your wiggle shopping basket.
We ship most items worldwide although some are restricted depending on the exact shipping destination.
The following products usually have shipping restrictions:

Energy drink, food and gels
Liquids
Products that contain aerosols
If you select your shipping destination from our home page you will only see products on the site that are available for your selected shipping destination.
For smaller parcels & packages we will despatch your item via Airmail, which is a Royal Mail service. No signature will be required on delivery of your order. Please note that due to the economy nature of the Royal Mail service it is not possible to trace a delayed parcel until 28 days after shipping.
For higher value orders / bulky items we will despatch your item with Parcel Force International via the Express Mail Service EMS & The E-Parcel Group EPG. Will I have to pay any Customs charges in my country?
There are no import/export duties on goods shipped within the European Union. All goods shipped to EU countries already have the relevant VAT included.
Shipments sent outside the European Union are sold exclusive of VAT and may be subject to import duties and taxes, which may be levied once a shipment reaches your country. Please note: It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods (not including shipping charges) on all packages destined outside the European Union, and shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. It is a criminal offence to falsify the details on this form. We cannot inaccurately describe the contents, claim a lower value or mark as a gift. Please do not ask, or expect us to do any of the above. For details of Customs charges please consult your own Customs authorities for the latest rates.
Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. We are unable to reimburse any costs incurred regardless of the circumstances.
NOTE: Priority Despatch is available for all products except Bikes
Priority Despatch means we fast-track the packaging and shipping of your order so you will receive it as quickly as is possible.
Given the importance of delivery time to our customers, Priority Despatch is the default option on Wiggle.
UK customers should take delivery of items we have in stock within 2 working days.
With Priority Despatch we insure we despatch your order as quickly as possible via either a next-day courier service or Royal Mail 1st Class. This should result in you taking delivery the next working day (after despatch) however we can make no guarantees on the speed of the postal/courier service used which is why we recommend allowing 2 working days.
International orders will take longer depending on destination but we will make sure your goods leave us as quickly as possible.
But when will my order be despatched?
If you order on a working day before 2pm GMT Monday – Thursday we aim to despatch your order the same day.
If you order on a Friday or Saturday we may despatch your order the same day but it may not arrive until the following week as not all postal services deliver at the weekends.
Priority Despatch orders placed on a Sunday will be processed first thing Monday morning ahead of our weekend rush!
Will I receive my order any sooner if I choose priority despatch?
yes - we process orders where priority despatch has been paid for first
if you pay for priority despatch, we will despatch the items we have in stock straight away with the remainder going onto back order. These items are despatched when they have all come into stock or after a week, whichever is sooner
If you select the free delivery option, you may wait up to a week for your goods. We will despatch all your items together when they are all in stock. If we are still waiting for items after a week, we will despatch the ones we do have
Note: We do not currently provide priority despatch for Bikes.

Note: Priority delivery is subject to successful processing and security checks before deadline.
How does it work?
To benefit from Priority Delivery, simply ad your chosen bike to your basket and select priority delivery during checkout.
Note; A "working day" comprises Monday - Friday and does not include weekends or bank holidays. e.g. order before 2pm Wednesday and opt for Priority Bike Delivery and your bike is guaranteed to be delivered by Friday before 12pm midday. Subject to all security checks.
Wiggle offers courier delivery to international customers allowing orders to be fully traceable. The price of this service is dependent on the delivery country or region.
If your order qualifies for the courier service you will be shown this as a delivery option in the Basket and Checkout pages. Here you can select which delivery method you would like.
If you select to upgrade to the traceable courier service we will send you an email with details on how to track your order once your order has been placed.
The courier delivery option is available when all the items in your order are in stock. If your order contains items which are currently on order (i.e. items marked as 'none in stock' or 'out of stock') you cannot use the courier service. However, you could still get traceable courier delivery for your in stock items by placing two separate orders; one order for all in stock items and one for the on order items.
Courier delivery is not available for customised items or bikes, however Wiggle may choose to despatch your order using a courier.
