Designed to be easy to use, the Race stand allows you to work on any part of your bicycle, wherever you are and folds quickly for easy transport to events. Accepts virtually any bike except tandems.
Bike can be attached by front fork or rear drop-outs (as required), and offers exceptional stability on virtually any surface. The height is adjustable from 69cm to 97cm, with the ability to rotate the upper section a full 360 degrees.
The 600mm bike support arm quickly unfolds and automatically snaps securely into position, then folds down easily, by simply pressing a trigger.
About Workstands
A bicycle workstand is a great investment, they hold your bike securely leaving both hands free to work. They hold the bike in the air and can usually be adjusted in height and angle, this means you can reach those awkward parts and rotate the wheels, cranks and adjust gears and brakes at will. Most workstands have a 'jaw' which clamps around the bike, we suggest clamping at the seatpost as this is usually a thicker material than the frame and less prone to damage. We also list a range of wheel jigs within this section. Wheel jigs are used for holding the wheel while being 'trued up', these are exceedingly handy as they feature guides to help you remove both sideways and up and down buckles. Both types of workstand will usually fold away for easy storage, or you can even take them to a race to help set your bike up.
About the Elite brand
Elite have been manufacturers of cycling trainers, workstands and bottle cages. Elite were born at the end of the 1970s as builders of rollers for bike training and bike racks for cars. Elite entered the bicycle market as a company with the ability to interpret the needs of the bicycle market sector by creating modern and original products. In 1984, Elite was the first company in Europe to create and produce a roller with a posterior supporting stand, putting a milestone on the road of the development of this component. The bottle holder ""Macan"", which was introduced in 1987, revolutionised the basic concept of this accessory, with the introduction of new elements like for example the plastic covered head, to hold the bottle in place more firmly, or like the adjustable runners for the screws which fix things to the frame. Little by little, thanks to this continuous feeling for innovation and research, the bottle holder has also evolved: the ""Ciussi"" model with its characteristic anti-vibration side buttons, and the innovative ""Patao"" with its futuristic design are the most evident fruits.
